3 persons remanded for stealing N25million belonging to Gov. Fayose’s aide

Three persons who were said to be domestic staff at the Ekiti State Government House lodge, Ado-Ekiti, Bamidele Temitope, 36, Afolabi Sunday, 42 and Shuaib Amidu, 67 were remanded in prison custody for stealing N25 million belonging to Governor Fayose’s Personal Assistant, Mr. Sunday Omosilade. The accused persons were said have committed the offence on December 29 at the Ekiti State Government House Lodge. The police prosecutor, Sgt. Caleb Leranmo told the court that the accused persons did conspire together to commit felony to wit stealing, thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516 of Criminal Code, Cap C16, laws of Ekiti State 2012. The prosecutor also alleged that the accused persons, on the said date unlawfully stole 50,000 USD (Fifty thousand dollar) belonging to Omosilade.
