There are reports that unknown gunmen stormed Inuwa Wada road in Kaduna State where the home of President Buhari’s nephew Mallam Mamman Daura is located. Going by reports, Daura narrowly escaped abduction as well as the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari who is said to have hid in the toilet when the gunmen invaded the area. A former ambassador was allegedly abducted by the heavily-armed gunmen. Confirming this incident on Twitter, a Northern APC politician Dasuki Nakande tweeted that, “Kidnap saga in Mamman Daura’s resident 45 min. ago. An Ambassador reportedly taken. Chief of staf Abba Kyari narrowly escaped. Hid in toilet.”
